Definition:
Two’s Complement: The result ob-
tained when all the data bits are inverted
and 1 is added to the result. Used to
represent negative numbers. The Two’s
Complement of 3 (i.e. 0000 0011) is equal
to 1111 1101or $FD. This represents ‘ 3’.
